END THE CYCLE OF TRAUMA THAT'S PASSED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION

I was lost and with you I felt like someone noticed my hand sticking out of the water and pulling me up to the surface. Every lesson, every phone call, every meditation, and every home assignment are absolutely transformational. I asked the universe for guidance, specifically a handbook of tools with a serving of grace and that is what I was given through your wonderful class. Because of the embodiment class I show up as a better mother, wife, but most importantly, a better version of myself. I’ve grown to love myself and give myself the grace needed to navigate my healing journey. Carmin teaches you that you have all you need inside, she is a guide, leading you back home! I spent most of my life dissociating and through the somatic healing practices I’ve been able to learn to feel my body and listen to what it needs in ways I’ve never experienced. I didn’t know much about somatic healing and I wasn’t aware of how to release the emotions I held inside, and through practicing what she taught I’ve been able to step outside my unhealed self and let go of things from my past that I couldn’t even allow myself to sit with before. I now have a dream, a vision for my life, boundaries, and tons of self love. I love you Carmin!

It was what helped me to push through that trauma to face it and get through it! Did it completely go away? No. What has happened is that rather than it being this huge weight without a name, it has now been broken down and I do not struggle in handling the triggers. I am now able to see it, accept it and work with it. This is huge! The changes that have occurred in my life in the last 2 months since completing your program are astounding!

Through the Girl Powered workshop I felt like I grasped a better understanding of not only myself but the people around me; both people I know personally and people I don’t. Everyone is connected in one way or another. I learned the value of self love and self care and how these things are not only external, like your daily routine, but they are also internal and require true strength. I believe by the end of this workshop I was able to find my strength and walk out a better version of myself.

Embodiment is a beautiful workshop that scaffolds and outlines activities, inner work, group sharing and accountability and vision. Embracing yourself, letting go of what is blocking you and your vision, setting intention is all important work we don't often spend time doing for ourselves in the busy day to day. Making time for myself was the biggest challenge and the ability to catch up week to week when I'd miss something was great. Carmin supported everyone so beautifully, and it was evident how much she pours into every part of the workshop.

My daughters participated in the Lessons for my Daughters program in Spring 2018. One of them has always been very shy and reserved. She had difficulty expressing herself and lacked confidence. Lessons for My Daughters taught her about self awareness and self expression. My shy daughter found her voice and the boost in self confidence was evident.
